That Clendenning give away on the 2nd Leafs goal was awful, but besides that not much to complain about. Grabner just keeps scoring, he's been real streaky hot again lately.

But the most positive sign was Hank looking much better. Couldn't have been an easy week for him.

my theory about why the Rangers road record is so good compared to the home record being so mediocre is the direct responsibilty of this fanbase.

It is full of absolute jackwagons

It was and he just should have put it up the boards. But the pass by Buch didn't help the situation and then Buch went past him to his right on the boards, limiting the amount of open space available.

Good point Jan about Hayes vision. He has been very steady & productive for the year as a whole. Thought he should have passed the puck back when he had that 2 on 0 with I forgot who (Grabner?) but shot it. Usually he would have passed back there.

It has been like this for a few years now. MSG is just a morgue now. I don't know how players can get pumped up to play there

Clendening got outworked on that goal, otherwise he wasn't bad.
Who would have thought Grabner would be leading the NHL with 20 even strength goals? Heck of a deal. Are we seeing the real Grabner or an anomaly? This is reminiscent of those first few years with the Isles.

Rangers looked great last night. Lundqvist definitely looked like his old self. Nice win!

I just read a quote in newsday about how Babcock & especially his assistant wanted Grabner back but made a tough decision to not resign him & let a young forward take his spot. Interesting because I thought Toronto couldn't wait to see him go.

You guys got a lot to look forward to as well, good young talent & a great Coach to show them the way.

Leafs goaltending was awful - did all the players go & publicly apologise to him for their underwhelming effort?

I'm in a good mood, can't get me to say nice things about the Leafs too often.

Maloney and Micheletti spoke about this on MSG after the game. The Keafs special teams coach was really pushing to bring Grabner back. But Grabner wanted to go to a contender, which was a big reason why he picked the Rangers. In addition, they may have been exaggerating, but said Grabner had like 100 breakaways last year but just couldn't score.

From the previous blog, the Blues would most certainly want Miller or perhaps Zucc, although I'm not sure he fits in a system that plays a north/south game. That said, Vesey is certainly the odd man out at his point, could be St. Louis would have interest, hate to see the kid go. But, you have to give to get, time will tell.

Some players just "fit" with certain teams. I think Grabner does that with the Rangers. I don't know if he would be having the same year on another team. History says he wouldn't.
