This is quite the predicament for the Bruins. It's easy to fire the coach and say its a philosophy issue, however Julien has proven his system works. The roster is, for lack of a better word, average. The pressure that Jacobs (nice of him to visit in the summer) put on management to make the playoffs this year, has metaphorically handcuffed the bruins into adding instead of starting over. This ultimately falls on Sweeney and Neely, and they don't seem to know if its the roster or coach and we have now been in a standstill for over a year. I, for one, think Neely just hired a friend instead of someone who wouldn't be afraid to have a different opinion, and now it is showing on the ice, there is a reason neither of them have made appearances on radio or tv, because they do not have answers to questions. |

with all of this Carlo trade talk for Landeskog, let me ask, why is Colorado willing to trade/listen to offers for their 24 year old captain, but the Bruins won't trade Chara to a contender (highly doubt boston would be looking for a haul)? |
