I really don't like how Carter handled himself after his trade. That's why he is pretty high on that poop list

Richards- hey man I smiled when he got the Cup. Gags too, obviously.

- Giroux_Is_God

I was genuinely happy for Gagne, class act across the board. And pretty happy for Brindy as well. The rest, good for them...but I'm waiting for the Cup to come back to Philly.

oh yeah. like i said, you guys dont fall under my anti flyers fan proclamations. although im sure somewhere, one of you guys has a carcillo shirt hiding somewhere...
- stayinthefnnet

I know you're joking, believe me...

But I just want to say he was my least favorite Flyer in both recent and not so recent memory.

In fact, I think he might be THE most hated Flyer I can remember. Showing my (lack of) age, but still

that day will come eventually. hell, i dont think this current squad is too far off. and my god, will it be torture. i wish it could just be for normal, rational people like you to enjoy. the poopstorm that will ensue will be catastrophic.

Yup, probably. But to be honest, I tune that stuff out as easily as I ignore crap shows on tv and the every day idiot in public. But if you're a Pens fan in the city, and people know it...yikes.

Lucky for you, that day hasn't come...yet.

oh yeah. the best part is, the majority of people act as though it has. thus only reinforcing my revelry in flyer fan misery. the hopes and dreams of you lot are unfortunately just collateral damage.

Doesn't sound like you mind the verbal back and forth too much.

Carter's stick, since it wasn't on the ice, was also in Emery's gut and pushing his arm...so that could have been called. I see it as a wash since the VL non-goal looked pretty close.

Although VL needs to bury that puck.

Its not a possibility. Hitting a post or two or three.....it is never a possibility that the puck could go in. It has to completely cross the line. What the hell was Clement talking about with the camera angles? I cant stand him

No, I just meant in general. After all, lawyers better be ready for verbal sparring, and I'm guessing part of you enjoys the challenge...you give as good as you get, perhaps better.

That's why I enjoy debating politics.

but then sometimes im the total opposite, and i love going back and forth with someone, both in good spirited debates as well as just debunking arrogant wieners who dont have a logical leg to stand on.

That puck was a (frank)ing knuckleball. No way you can watch that video, the overhead angle, and say it's unreasonable to think the puck might have crossed the line between the 2nd and 3rd bounce. Because the overhead angle is out in front of the net, that means the pucker is deeper than what is being viewed.

At 37 seconds, the puck is almost gone, completely hidden by the crossbar. And if while it's spinning, flipping end over end, white can be seen between it and the goal line, it's a goal.

It was very close, and very interesting, with a bit of an optical illusion to cap it all off.

because of how much it irked the vast majority of the typical loathsome flyers fans that they did.

really. like someone on here touched on earlier, it shouldnt bother flyers fans. its not like they chose to leave. if they had, totally different story. but you should be happy for them. 2 pretty good players who so liked the team and franchise that they signed essentially lifetime commitments to remain there. team (wisely, as it turned out) decides to go in another direction, and its suddenly (frank) THEM!

- stayinthefnnet

i'm pretty tired of your sucking-up shtick while you simultaneously insult flyers fans

go back to the pens thread

That all depends what area of law you decide to enter. Hopefully you're not in law school for anything other than yourself. If you like analysis, debate, and the art of the argument, verbal or otherwise, you'll be fine. And I'm fairly certain the majority of lawyers are not actually doing a lot of public speaking.

You're not done learning, growing, or becoming who and what you are... And I can say this without being some new age tool because it's true of all of us, right up until we die. So don't limit or confine what you can do.
