According to New Jersey Devils beat writer Tom Gulitti, Steve Cangialosi will replace Mike 'Doc' Emrick and become the new play-by-play man for the Devils. Cangialosi will, as expected, be joined by Chico Resch in the MSG broadcast booth this season.

For those who have been following my blogs and twitter feed, you will not be surprised by this news.

The official announcement is expected soon.
