How frustrated are you?

DB: "It is frustrating there is no doubt about it. What can you do? It is something that is out of my control. As frustrating as it is, you try to stay positive. There is no sense in me wasting my energy trying to fight it. It is what it is. You just try to get better and get back in the lineup."

Do you know when you will be back?

DB: "No, not at this point. Hopefully it will be within the next few games. It is too early I don't know right now. I have to see how it reacts in the next day or two."

Are you sure it isn't related to your abdominal tear?

DB: "Yes, definitely. The surgery went well. It feels better and better every day. It is another injury and not related. That's what is so frustrating. I'm not a doctor but it is not the same area.

"We thought it (earlier injury) was groin or hip flexor related but it wasn't. The next day when I woke up it was definitely in the stomach area and this is not in the stomach"

Do you think the layoff could have been involved?

DB: "It could be. I don't know how to explain it. I really don't know. But yes, that could be one of the reasons.

"It was sore early in the game. As it would warm up it would get better and better but the pain never went away. It got to the point late in the 2nd period that I couldn't even push off. I had no speed. Once I was going I was fine but I couldn't take off. I felt I was putting the team at a huge disadvantage. I wasn't helping out that last shift that I took. I felt like I was a step behind everybody. So instead of putting the team in a bad position we agreed that it was better to just get off the ice right away."
