There will be NO Chris Pronger for Game 2 against Buffalo.

I wrote on CSNPhilly.com today that his availability is equally in question for Game 3 - depending upon how the series goes.

My own view? I'm beginning to think Game 5, if there is one.

He is still not shooting pucks. That says all you need to know on a daily basis.

Biggest thing the Flyers have to do in Game 2 is get rebound shots and try to get Miller moving. He is making stationary saves without having to move for a rebound.

I predicted before the series that the Flyers PP would be their undoing and in a 1-0 loss, it becomes an issue. I like what Scott Hartnell said to me today when I asked about the follow shots:

“You pass the puck around and not get it to the net, it’s a good way to give them a shutout,” Hartnell said. “We had over 30 shots. Still not as much as we wanted and the quality shots weren’t as good as we hoped.

“A couple of 2-on-1’s, we tried to saucer pass the puck through a guy, over a stick or back door. More times than not, they’re going to work. They didn’t work yesterday. Shooting is always the first option.”
