Also ... Matt Carle deep bone bruise on left foot. I have this Baaaad feeling in a day or so we are going to hear that's a broken foot, too.

Strange turn of events here ...

Now FLyers say Jeff Carter will have surgery for the fracture in his left foot ... BUT ... the time frame for his recovery remains 3-4 weeks.

Then why didn't he have surgery sooner? And if the time frame is the same, why does inserting a screw not change things in some way?

Unanswered questions, as usual.
