I don't have any insider info. Anyone who reads me regularly knows that I simply state my opinion and don't try to speculate on what may or may not happen. That being said, I simply don't think that Sutter would have traded for the rights if he wasn't confident that he'd sign the defenseman.

He may not sign on the dotted line before he reaches the open market, but I think that Mr. Bouwmeester will be in a Flames uniform come training camp. As for what that means to the rest of the organization I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
