We are rapidly approaching the beginning of the draft. There have already been rumours abound today. Will we see any of them unfold? Who knows!
Parakyo's name has been tossed around in Oilers news with Nurse+ going the other way. There was some earlier mentions of Talbot's name out there but that appears to have been shot down.
Ryan Rishaug tweeted out he expects Edmonton to use the pick but does add things could change depending on how the dominoes fall.
I'll update the blog below here as things start to unfold

SECOND TRADE: Toronto traded Pick 25 to St Louis for #29 and #76
- FIRST TRADE: Ottawa trades Pick 22 to the Rangers for Pick 26 and 48.
- Thought Merkley might go first round but surprised the Sharks grab him. He and Kane will go together nicely.
- Didn't even have Foudy on my radar.
- Ty Smith goes 17th overall. Had things gone differently wouldn't have been surprised to see this pick go to Edmonton.
- Kaut is a sneaky pick for the Avalanche. Surprised they didn't go with Veleno though.
- My mock draft isn't doing so hot right now......
- Islanders make out with Dobson and Wahlstrom. Wow.
- Here it is Oilers fans. Oilers choose Evan Bouchard
- Rangers about to decide Edmonton's fate here
- Shocked Chicago didn't pick one of the Three. Strange to see Dobson in particular drop so low.
- Worth noting Chiarelli isn't even on the phone right now
- Barrett Hayton to the Coyotes.... wow suddenly Wahlstrom or Bouchard could be in Edmonton's reach.
- Next pick will be interesting. I expected Wahlstrom to go to Chicago but with how things have played out now I'm not sure.

- If someone else goes off the board things could go really weird with Edmonton.

- First move of the day with Caps dealing Grubauer and Orpik to the Avalanche for the 47th overall. Let the flood gates open!
- Nothing too much of interest yet to report. Barrett Hayton is getting lots of interest. A team might pick him in the top 10 which could make things interesting for the Oilers
