Goalie Semyon Varlamov will make his second consecutive start Tuesday night when the Avalanche (3-0-0) meet Minnesota (2-2-0) at the Pepsi Center in their final home preseason game.

Varlamov made 33 saves Friday in Colorado's 3-1 win against Los Angeles.

The Avalanche close out the preseason schedule with two road games after playing the Wild: Wednesday in Dallas and Saturday against the Kings in Las Vegas. They open regular-season play Oct. 15 against the Stars at the Pepsi Center.

Here's the AVALANCHE, WILD roster for the game.

Captain Gabriel Landeskog and center Carl Soderberg will play their first preseason games after playing for Team Sweden in the World Cup of Hockey.

"I'm still at the point where we're looking at some guys and trying to make some decisions, evaluating all the guys that are left," coach Jared Bednar said. "Everyone's going to play (either Tuesday or Wednesday) and then we'll see where we get to for Saturday.

"The system work is all repetitive now, but it's easier to take a look at guys and how they fit within our group because we're so much closer to the team we're going to have now."
