Tyson Jost will be in the lineup Tuesday when the Avalanche play in Nashville to complete a two-game road trip.

Jost missed the past two games after sustaining a hyperextended knee and bone bruise when he was cross-checked by Boston's Adam McQuaid last Wednesday in the Avalanche's home opener.

Here are the GAME NOTES.

Jost will center the fourth line with Carl Soderberg and Blake Comeau. Soderberg, who centered the line in Jost's absence, will move to left wing, replacing Matt Nieto.

Colin Wilson, who spent the past eight seasons with the Predators, will be on the third line with captain Gabriel Landeskog and J.T. Compher. Wilson was acquired July 1 for a 2019 fourth-round draft pick.

"It's a different feeling," Wilson said of playing against his former teammates. "I remember when Shea Weber got traded away (to Montreal) and when he played here said it was just very different coming to this side of the locker room, coming out of the tunnel that way and suddenly being on the opposing side. There's going to be a lot of mixed emotions during it."

Defenseman Anton Lindholm will take injured Patrik Nemeth's spot with Tyson Barrie. Nemeth hurt his shoulder Saturday in a fight with Dallas' Tyler Seguin.

Semyon Varlamov gets the start in goal.

The Avalanche have lost six consecutive games to the Predators.
