Just got back from our family trip and am (almost) ready to get back into the new season.

The Avalanche announced that 59 players, including 23 who took part in rookie camp, will participate in training camp. Veterans report for medical and physical testing Thursday at the Pepsi Center, and on-ice sessions led by first-year coach Jared Bednar begin Friday at the South Suburban Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colo.

On-ice sessions are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
