Two sleeps before what many think will be the war of the playoffs as the Jets and Preds are set to open Friday in Nashville. The animosity for some fans is already at an all-time high because Nashville is preventing Jets fans from purchasing tickets to attend the game. The response from fans in Winnipeg has been the Jets will prevent Nashville from moving onto the third round.

You can now buy these:

The hype surrounding this series is going to be epic and is reaching overhype based on what many expect from the quality of hockey that should played. Consider this tweet from Sean Tierney and how the Jets and Preds compare:

Now compare the players as Sean has so nicely done for us:

and...

If you like that kind of data, shot rates, then these two teams could absolutely do battle in a way that is reminiscent of the regular season. Goals and more goals.

So what really might matter is how Hellebuyck and Rinne play in the series. I've been saying this to anyone who as asked me- it will come down to goalies and health. Stay healthy and play well between the pipes and the team that possesses both will win.

For the Jets it's expected that Enstrom will be back and one interesting thought was where to slip him in. Given how well Buff has played this postseason and how risky Myers has played would it make sense to put an Enstrom Myers pairing and leave Buff with Morrow?

It's long been debated that Enstrom is far more valuable than many Jets fans think (he is don't @ me) and using his strengths to shore up the riskier Myers is something that could make sense for Maurice. Now don't think that the move would be permanent, it can change at any point and might but should this be worth doing?

Patrik Laine did not practice today and while taking days off during the playoffs is normal, he had a short practice the day before and now missing one raises questions.

Anyone else a bit surprised that Kyle Connor with 31 goals did not get a Calder final nomination?

Aside from having the top two teams in the league meet in the second round is it not as ridiculous that two Vezina nominated goalies are facing each other too?

Do you think starting on the road will affect the Jets? Remember that last game in Nashville... yikes.

Here's another question, should there be street parties in Winnipeg for the away games?

Two more sleeps Jets fans, get your rest because this is going to be one wild ride.
