The Islanders look to get above NHL .500 for the first time this season as they host the St. Louis Blues. Both teams are 4-0-1 in their last five games.

Thomas Greiss will get the start in net tonight over Jaroslav Halak. Jack Capuano is clearly taking a page out of Yankees manager Joe Girardi's book, or should I say binder by playing the numbers. Greiss is 4-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .934 save percentage in five starts against the Blues. Halak, who has played his best hockey of this season recently in wins against the Capitals and Rangers, struggles against his former team. He is 0-2-1 with a 4.56 GAA and .860 save percentage.

The Isles lineup will be determined later tonight. Some players are still under the weather. Capuano said that Johnny Boychuk, who missed Tuesday's win against the Rangers could play. There's also a good chance Anthony Beauvillier plays tonight. The 19-year-old has not played since the win against the Penguins. Beauvillier would replace Ryan Strome, who is not feeling well.

During this stretch, the Islanders have scored first in six consecutive games. What is more impressive is how the penalty kill has turned it around. New York has successfully killed the last 20 penalties.

Jake Allen will start for the Blues. Allen does not like to play away from the Arch. In eight road games, Allen is 3-3-1 with a 3.59 GAA and .870 save percentage. The Blues cancelled their morning skate at Barclays due to the heavy traffic to Brooklyn.
