Newsday's Arthur Staple reports Ryan Pulock (undisclosed) did not travel with team to Florida. The defenseman is likely out remainder of series.

The 2013 first round pick left last night's game in the third and did not return. His absence was felt on the team's final power play late in the third period.

This is devastating news to the Islanders. Pulock has been the team's best defenseman this series. His Game 3 goal following the Panthers overturned goal sparked the team. He also set up Shane Prince on a beautiful pass for the second goal. Pulock also assisted on John Tavares' power play goal last night.

I would expect rookie Adam Pelech to replace Pulock. The rookie has the size to match up against the Panthers forwards
