The Islanders have loaned forward Josh Ho-Sang to Bridgeport this morning. Forward Steve Bernier has been recalled.

Ho-Sang's point total since last being recalled on November 11 is respectable, eight points in 15 games, but is pointless in his last five. His play, along with linemates Anthony Beauvillier and Brock Nelson has been erratic. Beauvillier was scratched last night in favor of Alan Quine, who centered the fourth line. Casey Cizikas, who scored last night, moved up to the third line.

This is the type of play that you are going to get with Ho-Sang, careless turnovers, his indecisiveness and the inability to shoot. In 21 games played, Ho-Sang has just 18 shots. But will dazzle with highlight reel passes.

The Islanders are 2-5-1 in their last eight games and lost consecutive games in regulation for the first time all season.
