The Islanders are looking for a little payback tonight as the Dallas Stars visit the Barclays Center tonight. The Stars routed the Isles 5-0 on November 10.

The Isles have won four straight at home against the Stars by a combined score of 23-11. Following tonight's game, they head to Columbus Thursday night, where they were also embarrassed by a score of 5-0 on opening night.

Jaroslav Halak will start his five straight game tonight. Halak made 30 saves in Monday's 3-1 win against the Washington Capitals. He backed up Doug Weight's decision to play him and probably played his best game of the season and has seemed to take the reigns of the number one goalie job. Halak is 2-1-1, with a 2.69 goals against average and .912 save percentage.

Johnny Boychuk is a game-time decision. The defenseman has missed the last three games. If he can go, expect Dennis Seidenberg to take a seat.

Tonight features the top two offensive defensemen this season in John Klingberg and Nick Leddy. Klingberg leads all NHL defensemen with 25 points with Leddy trailing by one.

Kari Lehtonen will start for the Stars.
