The Islanders will host the New Jersey Devils at the Barclays Center tonight at 7pm. Defenseman Johnny Boychuk will be in the lineup for the first time this preseason. He has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury. This is a good sign for the Islanders.

Thomas Greiss will also dress for the first time this preseason. The German goaltender returns from the World Cup. Christopher Gibson is the other goalie for tonight. It very likely that Jaroslav Halak will be on the roster tomorrow night against the Rangers. The Isles have games on three consecutive nights.

Projected forward lines

Ladd-Strome-Parenteau
Quine-Ho-Sang-Nelson
Dal Colle-Barzal-Markison
Johnston-Gionta-Bernier

Projected defensive pairings

Leddy-Hamonic
Hickey-Boychuk
Toews-Burroughs

The team made a couple of roster moves on Sunday as they sent Eamon McAdam to Bridgeport and release Connor Jones and Patrick Cullity from NHL PTOs. Both Jones and Cullity will report to the Sound Tigers, who opened up camp Monday.
