Sabres release statement regarding Evander Kane arrest

"We are aware of the charges against Evander Kane stemming from an incident last month. Our organization will have no further comment at this time.”

According to WKBW' Ashley Rowe and WGRZ's twitter account, sources said that Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane has been arrested by Buffalo police for an incident that occurred in at a bar at the NHL Draft last month.

Kane was said to be facing non-criminal harassment charges stemming from the incident that occurred at the Bottoms Up! bar on Chippewa Street in the wee hours of the morning on June 24th.

According to WGRZ, Kane "was processed at Central Booking and issued an appearance ticket."

Rowe tweeted, "Police say Kane turned himself in this AM. Charged w/ 4 counts of non-criminal harassment and 1 count of criminal trespass, a misdemeanor."
