It's over. Jimmy Vesey has signed with the NY Rangers.
Vesey was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators but refused to sign with them preferring to become a free agent this summer. The Buffalo Sabres traded away a 3rd round pick to the Preds for Vesey's rights and had talks with him and his agents, but Vesey decided on the Big Apple as his first foray into the NHL.
The Sabres host the Rangers on December 1st.
