But Dean Lombardi and his staff are fantastic with their time and they did text me back with a few answers...
What did you and your scouts see in Kyle Clifford? He was pegged to be a late 2nd, early 3rd round selection (except for Kyle Woodlief who had him ranked 28th)
"Character and toughness. There was no way he would have made it through the 2nd round"
You drafted a lot of toughness this year. Was that a concern moving forward?
"No. Not a concern. What we were looking for, is competitiveness"
Does Schenn have a shot at making the team this year or would you rather he develop?
"We prefer not to rush him"
