Niclas Wallin get out the vote group, here is this week's installment of my Wednesday (or Thursday if the Canes play on Tuesday) brain teaser. (If you have no idea what I am talking about on the Wallin thing, check back tomorrow, and I promise to enlighten you.)
It should surprise no one that the NHL is a young man's game. A number of the games biggest stars are barely removed from 3-year entry level contracts that they signed at age 18. But I think people might be surprised by just how much and how young.
From the 2007-08 season and using ages at the beginning of the 2007-08 season:
1) Were more of the league's top 20 scorers: A) Younger than 25 (the kids); B) 25-29 (still young but with experience); C) Older than 30 (the gray-bearded vets)?
2) Were more of the top 20, 22 or younger or 30 or older?
No checking your favorite stat site before guessing.
Go Canes!
