Buffalo's little big men

Nathan Gerbe turns 25 today.

It's still crazy to think that he was selected in the 5th round (142nd overall) in the 2005 draft. I already wrote a blog about him recently and according to the poll, most people are expecting him to score 16-20 goals this season.

He may be the shortest player on the team, but I think he has the most heart. Gerbe may be ready for a breakout season, especially if he can play the whole year. He's played 126 games in the past two seasons combined.

The second shortest player on the Sabres team, Tyler Ennis, has yet to sign a contract with the team. Although he's played just one full season, it's clear that Ennis could have a big impact on the team.

His name has come up in possible trade scenarios, but I don't see the Sabres willing to part ways with him.

Would you be willing to trade either of these guys? I think the answer is no. Even if it were Bobby Ryan.
