Joel Quenneville rarely switches up a healthy lineup after a win, let alone 2 wins. However, it looks like Richard Panik will be out tonight, while Ryan Hartman draws back in.

Like I said in the last blog, it wasn't like those wins were in decisive fashion. Q is still looking for more out of his team and he'll get a hungry Hartman tonight, that's for sure.

Here’s what we’re looking at for tonight’s game vs. the Panthers:

Saad-Toews-Debrincat
Schmaltz-Anisimov-Kane
Sharp-Hinostroza-Hartman
Bouma-Wingels-Hayden

Keith-Oesterle
Forsling-Rutta
Murphy-Seabrook

Panik has lost confidence in his game and needs to view a game from the press box. What happens if the Hawks win again tonight? Not sure because the competition gets much harder as they head to Winnipeg to play the Jets on Thursday.

The Hawks could really use all the speedy, physical wingers they have at their disposal, so #14 may draw back in after his "timeout".

The Panthers played last night, beating the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 in OT. They will be hungry to keep their winning ways going as they have been stuck in neutral for most of the season. They need to start building up some wins or Uncle Dale will be having a fire sale in a few months.

The Panthers now sit 5th in the Atlantic with 28 points and have a 5-3-2 record in their last 10 games.

The Cats may go with James Reimer again tonight or Bob Boughner may opt to give rhyme-master, Harri Sateri his first NHL start. If so, oh no, this just screams Oscar Dansk or Charlie Lindgren all over again (#curseofthebackup).

Dale Tallon, who was demoted at one point last year, now how this team back under his control and is looking to bring them back to contention.

I've always liked Uncle Dale. He has always been a shoot-from-the-hip type GM, but always surrounded himself with great people (not just talented hockey minds) and was a great evaluator as well.

He's had some history as we know with Stan Bowman. It's been a while though, so for fun, let's take a stroll down memory lane:

March 2nd, 2014: Chicago trades Brandon Pirri to Florida for 2016 5th round pick and 2014 3rd round pick.

November 14th, 2013
: Chicago trades Jimmy Hayes and Dylan Olsen to Florida for Kris Versteeg and Phillippe Lefebvre.

June 27th, 2011: Chicago trades Tomas Kopecky to Florida for 2012 or 2013 conditional 7th round pick.

June 24th, 2011: Chicago trades Brian Campbell to Florida for Rostislav Olesz

February 10th, 2011: Chicago trades Hugh Jessiman, David Pecan and Jack Skille to Florida for Michael Frolik and Alexander Salak.

July 22nd, 2010: Chicago trades Marty Reasoner to Florida for Jeff Taffe.

Will Stan and Dale hook up again for a trade? I can see it if the Hawks finish up 2017 real strong and the Panthers can't get themselves into a playoff spot by 2018.

Were you a fan of Dale when he was the GM here in Chicago? Any trades/moves that you loved or hated?

A couple trades that stand out for me would be:

December 5th, 2005: Chicago trades Matt Ellison and a 2006 3rd round pick (#66-Ryan White) for Eric Meloche and Patrick Sharp.

* Sharp was stuck as a ‘tweener with Philadelphia and needed a change of scenery. What an outstanding job by Tallon and his scouts to scoop him up, with #10 turning out to be a pivotal part of 3 Stanley Cups. Not only for what he brought on the ice, but his character in the room really helped change the culture on those mid-2000 Blackhawks teams.

July 9th, 2006: Chicago trades Michal Barinka, Josh Hennessy, Tom Preissing and a 2008 2nd round pick (#42-Patrick Wiercioch) for Martin Havlat and Bryan Smolinski.

* Acquiring a top talent like Havlat was such a promising sign of finally putting a winning season together. The Hawks were starting to compile nice prospects in their system and they had just draft Jonathan Toews 3rd overall.

That's all I got for now.

See ya out there.
