Locally, former Lightning bench boss Barry Melrose isn't saying much. Per the team's PR staff, he initially said he'd only speak with ESPN. Gone in a flash from behind the bench and tough, if not impossible, to catch up with at this point for me, I give you his interview with Hockey Night in Canada's Ron MacLean, courtesy of Youtube.
Team execs are refuting just about everything Melrose said here.

As for yesterday's shootout loss to Carolina, I only caught the third period due to family commitments and, well, you know what happened. We'll look for more of a spark on Tuesday against Florida, I guess.
