NOTES:
This game is a nice measuring stick for the Hawks—the Bruins, although they’ve fallen off a bit, have been one of the league’s better teams the last few years. Chicago has fallen into a little bit of a pattern this year (though it’s not unexpected) of beating bad teams (Colorado), eking out wins over average teams (Carolina) and getting thumped by very good teams (Washington, Minnesota). So this is a game, for the sake of confidence, where the Hawks need to play well against what is typically considered a fairly good team.
I’m not sure what the Hawks will roll as far as lines tonight—but it’s probably safe to assume the Colorado units will carry over.
I'll recap tomorrow,
JJ
