THE BUZZ:

Could this game hinge on the 30th ranked Calgary power play versus the equally dreadful Hawk penalty kill? One team or the other should see an improvement in their statistics tonight and could win the game as a result. The Flames were projected by many as a sleeper this season—and thus far, they have struggled mightily out of the gate, especially stopping pucks from going in their net. The Hawks have had fits and starts, and need to put their second straight win on the board tonight at home in another “should win” game in order to build some consistency

I’ll recap tomorrow.
