Lightning Round: Slater Koekkoek

Koekkoek Re-signed

The Tampa Bay Lightning have re-signed defenseman, Slater Koekoek, to a one-year, one-way contract worth $800,000.

Koekoek was selected by the Bolts 10th overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He played 29 games for the Lightning last season, recording four assists.

Koekoek spent most of the 2016-17 season in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch, playing in 48 games and recording 13 points. In addition, he helped the Crunch make it to the Calder Cup Finals, registering seven points.
