Ducks Reduce Roster to 44

The Anaheim Ducks have announced that they have reduced their training camp roster to 44 players by assigning 18 players to different assignments.

Twelve players have been assigned to the San Diego Gulls. That list includes Stu Bickel, Alex Dostie, Nic Kerdiles, Julius Nattinen, Austin Ortega, Kevin Roy, Zach Saar, Deven Sideroff, Tyler Soy, Jeff Schultz, Keaton Thompson, and Angus Redmond.

Five players have been assigned to their Junior teams. Antoine Morand has been sent to Acadie-Bathurst of the QMJHL, Max Comtois has been sent to Victoriaville of the QMJHL, Turner Ottenbreit has been assigned to Seattle of the WHL, Brady Lyle has been assigned to North Bay of the OHL, and Kyle Olson has been assigned to Tri-City of the WHL.

In addition, Olle Eriksson Ek has been assigned to Farjestad BK of the Swedish League.
