In case you have been away from your computer all day, hockey has a new fan. And, the hockey fans love him.

Last night's game 7 game between Chicago and St. Louis was everything you could want. Lucky for Tony, or @soIoucity on Twitter, he tuned in to the perfect first game. From what I've gathered, he is a Celtics, Cardinals, and Rams fan. The Rams have left for LA, and the Blues swooped right into that empty spot for the time being.

The hockey world, which isn't always the most supportive or amiable, welcomed him and his candid responses to watching the sport we all love. You may be sick of this story by now, but it was refreshing for me to see a not-so-hateful hockey twitterverse. If you haven't seen his tweets, here they are:

I know, right?!

We are sorry. We weren't trying to hide it!

Yup, Kane is one of the ones you need to look out for.

It is hard to pick a favorite, but this might be mine. Also, you missed him losing his cool and attacking Fabbri on the Blues. Goalies do some pretty crazy stuff.

We are always analyzing the players, yelling at each other over opinions, and crunching numbers; it was so refreshing to see someone enjoying the game. I think sometimes we forget to do that.
