The Ottawa Senators have avoided going to arbitration, after signing Jean-Gabriel Pageau to a three year contract extension earlier in the week, and today confirming that Ryan Dzingel has agreed to a 2 year, $3.6M deal.

Dzingel will make $1.5M this coming season, and $2M in 2018-19.

So, barring a mid or late summer signing, it looks like Pierre Dorion will have some time off, after avoiding the messy arbitration process with both of the Senators' players who filed.
