Rookies reported for training camp today, and as they head down the 401 to London for the 4 team rookie tournament, Nick Paul was adding a letter to his jersey as he was named captain of the young Sens squad.

Ottawa squares off against the Leafs on Friday night, followed by Pittsburgh on Saturday and Montreal on Sunday.

Ben Harpur got his season off to a rough start as he injured himself and will not travel with the team to London.


It was also released today that former captain Daniel Alfredsson will become a Canadian citizen in a ceremony in Toronto during the World Cup festivities on Tuesday.
