The NHL descends on Prince Edward Island tonight as the Ottawa Senators host the New Jersey Devils for the annual Kraft Hockeyville game in Summerside, PEI which is playing host for the winning town, O'Leary PEI.

What the Ottawa lineup will look like is anyone's guess, as the traveling roster submitted yesterday included almost every skater still in camp. Notably, that roster included Erik Karlsson, although I wouldn't expect him to play so soon after stepping on the ice for the first time since his surgery. Derick Brassard is also on the roster, but he isn't expected to be ready quite yet either.

Kyle Turris should make his preseason debut, while Ryan Dzingel is unlikely but should be good to go for Wednesday in Winnipeg.

Craig Anderson will get the night off with Mike Condon likely going the distance in goal, looking to maintain the Senators' perfect preseason record.

We should get the scoop on who has the inside track on the final couple of roster spots, as they come closer to getting to the opening night roster. Max Reinhart and Mike Blunden were put on waivers yesterday, reducing the number of players looking for those spots but the competition is still in full force. Chris VandeVelde, Logan Brown, Max McCormick, Filip Chlapik and Tyler Randell are all hoping to get another chance to impress, while 18 year old 2017 pick Alex Formenton is still in camp and has shown well but would have to be considered a longshot to stick around much longer.

The Devils will be sending a pretty quality roster that will include rookies Nico Hischier (1st overall pick in 2017) and defenseman Will Butcher, the highly touted NCAA free agent signing. Taylor Hal, Marcus Johanssonl and Adam Henrique are also on the roster while Cory Schneider is expected to start in goal.

Being on the East Coast, a reminder that this is an early start, with a 6:00 PM Eastern start.
