Instead of flowers, people are asked to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Shawville Recreation Association, DEBRA Canada (in honour of Jonathan Pitre), the Jardins Educatif du Pontiac or another charity.
It will surely be an emotional day.

On another note, I am heading out on holidays for the next week and a half, heading to the LA/Anaheim area. I won't be tethered to a computer so barring a completely shocking development, I will talk at you all after I return, at which point it will be time to ramp up the new season. It will be about time, because I don't know if you feel the same but to me, despite the depth of the run into the playoffs, this summer has seemed to drag on hockey-wise more than I can remember.
