The Washington Capitals remain the hottest team in the NHL.

Four Game Winning Streak. 8 of 10. Third highest point total in the NHL. Only five point back of the Lightning for first overall.

And hardly anyone is talking Holtby for Vezina.....or Hart for that matter.

It's enough to make you wish the team was smart enough to pay draft picks and prospects to keep Nate Schmidt and clear cap space to keep Marcus Johansson.

But really, there is only one thing to talk about when it comes to the Capitals right now, and that is this:

Just absolutely sick.

Makes you wonder how a guy with almost 320 games played in the NHL only has 24 goals. They gotta let that guy loose more often.

Besides that, the Caps picked up Nathan Walker on waivers from the Oilers. Walker, the first Austrailian to play in the NHL, as well as (one assumes) the biggest Lethal Weapon fan in the league, was previously claimed by the Oilers from the Capitals.

He played two games for the Oilers before coming back. He's a depth player and the Capitals will likely send him to the AHL, which means the only reason we're really talking about this is because he's Austrailian. And he plays hockey. While being Austrailian. It's wild.

Caps play tomorrow in Arizona.
