The Coyotes were one of the best situated teams going into the Expansion Draft. They didn't even have enough good players to protect so they ended up protecting players like Luke Schenn and Connor Murphy, even though other teams ended up exposing much better players.
In the end, the Knights took Teemu Pulkkinen.
The Coyotes had picked Pulkkinen up at the deadline in exchange for future considerations. In the end, that's not much of a loss.
A former top 4th round pick, 111th overall, by the Red Wings, Pulkkinen played a grand total of four games for Arizona.
He could still be could, or he could be a bust. Either way, the Coyotes don't have to worry about it.
