In this edition of the hotstove we discuss which team down 3-0 (Minnesota, Chicago, Calgary or Columbus) is more likely to make it a series/win the most games.

I'm going with Minnesota.

The Wild have out-chanced the Blues 70-36(!!!) at 5v5 through three games yet have just one 5v5 goal to show for it. Why? Jake Allen has a .975 save percentage in the series. That is not going to last so if the Wild continue to significantly out-chance the Blues they should get rewarded. Winning four in a row against any team is tough, so coming all the way back is very unlikely, but I think the Wild can win a couple games and at least make things interesting.

Being down 3-0 is the worst feeling especially when you have only scored 2 total goals in the series and when you had a 4-1 lead in the third game. That's before we look at the Wild where everything is going wrong.

I'd like to say the Flames but I don't think they can and honestly I think the Blackhawks could have come back in previous years but not this one. So that leaves the Wild and I think they can maybe get it to a 3-2 standing in the series but there's something going wrong there, what that is could be anything. So give it to the Wild but I'm not holding my breath at all. With only 4 3-0 comebacks in league history the odds say no one is coming back an probably not making a series out of it.
