There have been a lot of weird decisions and results in the playoffs but Robby Fabbri's lack of ice time takes the cake for me.

Fabbri led the Blues with 15 points and currently sits tied for 8th in playoff scoring. Despite piling up the points he was rewarded with little playing time as he ranked 9th among Blues' forwards in ice time per game and 14th on the team overall.

Considering the Blues' inability to score during their final few games it's puzzling that they didn't give him more of an opportunity.

The goalie changes in both of the conference finals series have been mind boggling. Pittsburgh going from Murray to Fleury was insane, St. Louis going from Elliot to Allen was equally insane.

I just don't know what that accomplishes from a coaching standpoint. You are in the conference finals. You have gotten there with both of these goalies. NOW you decide to switch them? Makes so little sense.

The only other thing that has been sort of puzzling in these playoffs is the knee jerk reaction in criticizing hi-profile players versus others. However, that's not all that puzzling given the way the mainstream media of hockey works sometimes. Still amusing I guess you could say. Sidney Crosby doesn't work as hard as Jonathan Drouin. That's obvious right?

Oh man this one's easy it the officials! Oh wait that happens every year and I should be used to it.

Probably the most puzzling thing for me is all the guys in my various hockey pools who knew to go in on the Sharks, more importantly Burns, Pavelski and Thornton. After so many collapses and the last and only visit to conference finals in 2011 did anyone thing the Sharks would advance to the SCF with those three leading? 4 of the top 10 playoff scorers are Sharks and I forgot Couture. While not puzzling, I like many others learned to not trust the Sharks but now I'm hoping they go all the way simply so we can stop talking about them so negatively.
