I can tell you that I have spoken with my trusted sources and I'm told that there is no validity to all of the hullabaloo.
I'm told that Tampa GM, Steve Yzerman, is steadfastedly working with Stamkos and his agent to finalize a deal that will keep the former Sarnia Sting superstar sittin on the dock of Tampa Bay for the next 6-8 seasons.
According to capgeek.com, the Bolts presently have 20 players signed for next season at a total of $49,463,583, which gives them $14,836,417 to sign their red hot RFAs, Stamkos and Teddy Purcell.

On a lighter note, Cheap Trick will be playing Artpark Amphitheatre in Lewiston, NY on Tuesday night. I'm told that the band were shaken up as a result of the snafu in Ottawa, however, the Lewiston show will go on.
