The NHL schedule maker has given the Sabres one ball buster of a closing dance card, as eight of the remaining nine games are back-to-back affairs. Talk about being ready to answer the bell! I like their chances of winning 6-7 of these remaining games.

Here's what lies ahead for Buffalo:

* Two back-to-backers to close out March. All four games will be against Eastern teams.

*Three of the four are against teams who are in front of or directly behind them in the standings.

* They'll go head to head with Carolina, Rangers, and Toronto.

* Only two of the nine games are against Western opponents.

* Five home games and four away games.
