The team had Monday off. Darcy and Lindy have been busy wringing their hands, trying to craft the best roster for the opener inn Ottawa on Friday night.

The music has stopped and a veteran does not have a seat toi sit down on.

Matt Ellis has been waived. Thus, Nathan Gerbe and Tyler Ennis have for now, made the Buffalo squad. The kids have been better than alright. they have been outstanding in training camp. add the fact that Cody McCormick and Rob Niedermayer have been pillars of strength, Ellis becomes the odd man out.

Here are the lines as I see it:

Pat Kaleta's neck injury is still an issue. Perhaps Gerbe stays as the extra forward.

Were it a two man battle royale between Ennis and Gerbe, I take Ennis.
