Memo to Kunitz, Sid, Geno, and Talbot:

While you were sin binning, the power outage ended last night on the Wings' PP.

Three PPGs. Game Over.

STAY OUT OF THE BOX, OR ELSE!

The Pens must have heard the cautionary tale: play with fire, and you're going to get burned.

They were scorched from eyebrows to back hair to toes by virtue of the fact that they committed undisciplined acts of idiocy in Game 1 of a best of three for the right to hoist Lord Stanley's Mug.

On the road, and feeling good about themselves, the Pens thought it a wise idea to retaliate to The Wings and their extra cirriculars. Bad idea. Especially when you consider that the home squad has held serve in this series. The road team has lost every game thus far. Why Bylsma and his staff allowed the younger Pens to cross the blurry line I'll never know. Rather than sheath their weapons and channel their aggression elsewhere, the Pens nibbled the cheese off the trap and they were unceremoniously served a dirt nap.

Its not over yet. It will end abruptly in Game 6 if the conga line to the box persists.

The addition of Datsyuk proved to be the tonic for all that ailed the Wings in Games 3 and 4 in Da Burgh. 13's prescence injected an adrenaline surge into the blood stream of the Wings, and he paid dividends early and often for Babcock's Wheels.

Sid was battered and bumped for 60 minutes by arguably the best two defensive centres in the NHL today- Zetterberg and Datsyuk. Sid lost his cool on more than one occassion as a result of the constant contact and denail of his time and space. 87 was boxed up and cubically contained all night long. Bylsma will have to use his last line change find Crosby wingers to open up ice in Game 6. Fedetenko and Satan were useless in Game 5. They looked confused and apprehensive. Guerin was durable and sure of himself. Kunitz was an emotional train wreck. Kunitz knows better than to take stupid penalties in money games. He'll have to be better in Game 6.

On the flip side, I like the way that Staal and Kennedy palyed in the loss. They played with passion and purpose and they forechecked with authority.

If I'm Bylsma, I throw Sid with Geno and Guerin and roll the bones.
