With Their Win over Dallas, Sens New Projected Atlantic Division Winners |

Only three games tonight. And my PhD Wife's formula projected 2 out of 3 winners...this brings our season record to 37-14....a .725 winning percentage. Tomorrow night sees TEN huge games, many with playoff implications...I will post our predictions for Thursday night's games Thursday afternoon.
Tonight's three game results did however have some interesting implications...
*The Ottawa Senators now project to 102 points, which is one more than the Montreal Canadiens project to..
*Despite the Bruins victory, based on toughness of schedule the rest of the way the Bruins still remain 1 point out of a projected playoff spot with Florida holding on to the third spot in the Atlantic.
* The Dallas Stars loss tonight helped out the Predators a great deal as well, solidifying the Preds in the projected first wildcard spot.
* Meanwhile, the ripple affect knocked Columbus to finishing a projected three points back of the Rangers and a solid hold on the coveted first Wildcard in the East. The first wildcard in the East potentially lands the winner in the Atlantic...and while Columbus won't hold home ice, they could end the season 6-12 points better than Montreal or Ottawa....
