I am hearing the Islanders and the Blues as the top two teams with interest in Evander Kane..but this one is the definition of a "moving target." Cheveldayoff is playing this one very well and close to the vest. While many get the impression he is on the move a few, very specific and strategic sources, say he will be in camp 100%.

On Tyler Myers...

A source familiar with this situation tells me that while teams are welcomed to continue their "offerings" it appears as though the Sabres are "unofficially" saying he is not available at this time.


On Brassard...

A source in NY tells me the Rangers have had discussions with Winnipeg and Montreal regarding Derek Brassard...It would make sense that Brassard will be moved. Kreider has signed for 2.4 and Zuccarello yesterday for 3.5. The Rangers low balling Zuc reminds me of Dubinsky and Stepan in the past..and to a degree Callahan. Just an opinion.
