I have added Shea Weber to the Rumor Chart.

Really quick today as the family is in Margate NJ celebrating the 131st birthday of our neighbor, Lucy the Elephant..(follow me on twitter or instagram for photos from festivities.)

*The Rangers have been rumored to be in on Nash since January, but after the deadline I was told they were basically out of it, and I have heard they were shifting their focus away from Nash...well that may be changing.

As a good friend noted, "never under-estimate the Rangers and Flyers when it comes to one-upmanship. Today I was told, "If Weber is a Flyer look to the Rangers to make a deal for Nash. They will up their offer, and will up it substantially."

* Also hearing the Sharks, who have been the favorite since the deadline for Nash, are aware the Rangers could up their offer and may turn to trying to grab Bobby Ryan out of Anaheim.

* The Flyers, who came so very close to acquiring Ryan at the draft, are "in all likelihood going to move for Bobby Ryan if Weber remains in Nashville...(see how these dominos are lined up?)

* The Bruins are not in on Nash or Ryan, but have instead turned their attention to Keith Yandle. I also have heard the Bruins may have interest in Dany Heatley.

* Speaking of Heatley, I am hearing Columbus has interest in a package the would include both Heatley and goaltender Backstrom...(keeping an eye on this)

* The Coyotes also have interest in Dany Heatley...

* I have also heard the Blues, who tried to get Bouwmeester at the draft, are once again talking to Calgary.

Players are added and adjusted throughout the days as to what percentages I feel are their most likely destinations based on the hundreds of phone calls, emails, texts, IMs and telegrams I receive.
