The Ottawa Senators continue to be VERY active in the marketplace. Mike Hoffman's name is out there, and while his contract is an issue he is deemed to be a extremely valuable asset for the right team. He is a flat out top 6 forward and can score big goals at big times... When is that kind of player EVER available?

Of course his contract is the issue, but this week came word that the Sens may hold onto some of the money for the right return.

The hottest team currently is San Jose, who really is only a top 6 away from making a leap into the elite in the West...Vegas, Calgary, and to a lesser extent Nashville are also interested...
