Don't believe the hype...not yet at least. By that I mean the asking price and the actual prices are so far apart at this point and yet we keep hearing more and more Nash for Patrick Kane or Nash for JVR, Couturier, Bobrovsky, the Liberty Bell and...
I will start with the disclaimer that anything is always possible....however...
What is commonly being said to me now by insiders is "Howson is in trouble." At this point he isn't getting close to fair value...he continues to ask for two top 6, two #1's plus...when in actuality teams arent willing to go there. Not yet. then again...maybe Howson has an ace up his sleeve...
One source said, "There is going to have to be a lot more creativity on display than any of the rumors out there."

On Luongo
The pressure is NOT on Toronto to get a deal done quickly, but rather more on Vancouver. The Leafs are involved in deals with far more pressing circumstances, and it is not as if the other Leaf deals are going to involve the same players that will be eventually needed to make the Luongo deal happen...Also hearing the Leafs haven't ruled out a trade for Tim Thomas.
On Parise...
I have had at least three sources today inform me that Toronto is talking about Nash and Luongo and moving up in the draft, while all along getting closer and closer to obtaining Parise's rights...stay tuned.
On Philly
I am told they are very interested in a specific player in the draft and if he is available at 6 or so the Flyers may make a major deal to move up and get him.
On Patrick Kane rumors...
While Chicago may trying to be send Kane the message that he could be dealt if he doesn't shape up, this is not a Richards/Carter type situation.... Kane will not be moved I am told...
On Ryan Miller
Miller will also not be traded unless the return is overwhelming....
