* I am hearing that Kovalev to Pittsburgh is very close. The Pens have upped and there is one team who could still counter.. UPDATED: DEAL DONE

* Sources are telling me that the Leafs did make an offer for Liles two days ago, but nothing came of it, status could change, but nothing so far.

* Marek Svatos has been claimed by Ottawa, but could actually trade him as part of a package..to a team who would like Svatos, but need to give money back...

* The Ducks were looking at trading for Vokoun but instead have made a deal for Dan Ellis...

* The Sabres believe they have a team who would grab Rivet on Re-entry waivers.. I believe the Sharks may be this team
