so.....something appears to be brewing...Two separate deals could go down soon here...no guarantees, but all looks to be very much on track...

What i can tell you of the two deals I am chasing...

One involves a team moving WAY up in the draft.

The other involves the Flyers who are talking to a Western Conference team about a star player...maybe not the same star player everyone has been speculating on...but a big time player... the deal would be a 7 player deal and the Flyers would be setting up a separate deal as well.

Also...this just in...Bob McKenzie is reporting that Jordan Staal turned down a 10 year deal with Pitt...not unexpected, but interesting.
