The Latest on Duchene, Franson and Upshall... Wed's Buzzcast

A solid source confirmed to me today what a Buffalo player told me via text: The team is very much in the hunt to get a deal done with Colorado for Matt Duchene. The main obstacle so far hasn't changed: Joe Sakic's demands are a little too high and he's been inflexible to alternative ways to get it done if certain "untouchables" aren't available.

Also hearing that Dallas may not be quite done yet in their roster reshaping as they push to take a run at the Cup next season. There is interest in two still unsigned free agents -- Cody Franson and Scottie Upshall -- at least on tryout invites and possibly on lower-cost contracts.

More to come. Stay tuned for the BuzzCast at 2 p.m. eastern with Mike Augello, Russ Cohen, and Anthony Mingioni.
